While screw-in heatersand tubular heaters are mainly used in mixing tanks, pipes, pumps or dosing areas, drum and IBC heaters are used specifically for heating liquid or viscous raw materials. By reducing the viscosity in a targeted manner, they facilitate transport, handling and the complete, uniform discharge from drums or containers – an important factor for clean processes and minimized product losses.
Precise temperature monitoring plays a central role. Temperature probes such as Thermocouples or Pt100/Pt1000 sensors detect the temperature directly in the product or medium and react quickly to changes. Thanks to their high measuring accuracy, they enable precise control of thermal processes, prevent quality deviations and contribute to consistent product quality.
