Heating elements are used in laboratory equipment, pilot plants or experimental setups to ensure defined thermal conditions. Cartridge heaters, flexible heating mats or compact laboratory heating systems enable researchers to bring samples, reaction vessels or experimental modules to the exact temperature required. The temperature measurement plays an equally important role. The correct selection of the right type of temperature sensor ensures precise and reproducible recording of all thermal parameters – a basic requirement for reliable test results.

Pressure measuring devices complement these systems and help to make experimental processes safe and controlled. In pressure reactors, filtration experiments, test modules for new materials or fluidic experimental setups, continuous pressure monitoring enables accurate analysis and prevents unwanted deviations. Mechanical stainless steel manometers are often used for standard measurements, while electronic pressure transmitters provide high-precision readings that can be integrated into digital laboratory control and analysis systems.

Pressure transmitter

Our melt pressure sensors are characterized in particular by increased service life, high material quality, precise measuring behavior and a food-safe transmission medium. The melt pressure sensors are made entirely of stainless steel, and the use of a special and innovative diaphragm means that the known errors of diaphragm rupture during fusion shrinkage are a thing of the past. A special coating protects the diaphragm against sticky and abrasive substances. The result of selected materials, a special manufacturing process and the high-precision electronic unit ensures a stable measuring process without the known interference of temperature drift, such as with the NaK filling medium. By dispensing with environmentally harmful materials, our Sensors can also be used for food and pharmaceutical applications (FDA-compliant).

Ceramic heating elements

All-ceramic heating elements made of silicon nitride and aluminum nitride can be manufactured in customer specific designs to client requirements. A versatile shape design allows the heating function to be integrated into high-strength ceramic parts, such as cutting knives, welding jaws and tools. The high power density is achieved by sintering conductive ceramic in a shell of insulating ceramic. The excellent ageing and wear resistance of the ceramics guarantees a long service life. Holes, grindings, vacuum grooves, etc. can be drilled.

Pressure gauge

A pressure gauge is a measuring device for recording and displaying the physical pressure of a medium (e.g. liquid, gas, etc.). The relative pressure – i.e. in relation to atmospheric air pressure – is often measured. Pressure gauges filled with a liquid (e.g. glycerine, silicone) are particularly suitable for Universal probes for the measurement of vibrations and high dynamic pressure loads. The damping liquid prevents the formation of condensation and the penetration of corrosive gases into the housing. Typical areas of application are in the packaging machine industry, petrochemical and plant construction and, for example, in power plant construction.
