High-performance RP / RPT tubular cartridges

Construction of RP / RPT tubular cartridges

High-performance tubular cartridges (RP) can also be equipped with NiCr-Ni thermocouples (RPT).

The position of the Measuring point is approx. 5 mm from the blind end. The Thermocouples are normally insulated from the sheath, but can be welded to the sheath and embedded in the blind end if required. Type RP and RPT heating elements are liquid-tight.

Tubular cartridge with clamping band or sleeve RP / RPT

Version with clamping sleeve

Wherever a firm connection between the part to be heated with a circular cross-section and the tubular cartridge is to be achieved, the use of a clamping band or sleeve is recommended. Tensioning straps with an internal diameter of up to 40 mm are tightened around the circumference using the appropriate number of hexagon socket screws and nuts.

Hollow cartridges (HP / HPT)

Version with clamping sleeve

The hollow cartridges type HP/HP T consist of a tubular cartridge type RP/RPT, which is pressed onto a brass or stainless steel tube and fixed on the outside with a stainless steel protective tube. Due to the precisely fitting inner diameter, a good heat transfer to the part to be heated can be used for a variety of applications.
