Tubular heating elements

Metal-sheathed, highly compressed round tubular heater Ø 8.5 mm (previously Ø 10 mm), with two-conductor flat tubular heater. We use highly heat-resistant resistance material in accordance with
DIN 17470 as the heating conductor. Magnesium oxide (MgO) is used for insulation.
The high compression of the tubular heating element achieves very good electrical insulation values and
high thermal conductivity, even at high temperatures.

The bolts(3a) are insulated from the pipe jacket by an end sleeve(3b)
. To prevent moisture from penetrating the hygroscopic magnesium oxide and to maintain good electrical
insulation values, the pipe ends are sealed with a special sealant(3c) that is adapted for later use.

Length tolerances
The length tolerance in accordance with DIN 44874 is +/- 2%, but at least +/- 5 mm.
Narrower performance tolerances must be agreed when placing the order.
For deformed radiators, the dimensional tolerances and the position of the length compensation must be agreed in each case.
Longer versions and higher temperatures in the connection area are possible on request.

The radiator is available in a stretched, bendable bright or dark oxidized annealed version.

The radiator is particularly suitable in the plastics industry for the heating, where the return or feed-through of a second connection end
is not possible.
The radiator is available in a stretched, bendable bright or dark oxidized annealed version.

Wide range of applications
FLAT HEATING ELEMENT TYPE FLC panel radiators offer the possibility of inexpensive heating of surfaces. The wide Temperature range in which these heating elements can be used opens up a wide range of applications for the user.

Proven construction
The FLC heating elements have an outer sheath made of corrosion- and heat-resistant chrome-nickel steel 1.4541, which gives the heating element sufficient mechanical strength.

The internal design corresponds to the tubular heating elements with chrome-nickel steel sheaths that have been tried and tested for decades. This can be used for a variety of applications up to 750°C.
